TECHNICS:
The function of AU-PEA550 is equal to starch modifying agent. With unique advantages, it is applicable to various kinds of paper pulp. The surface sizing agent for paper now is usually oxidized starch. The main disadvantages of traditional method of modifying oxidized-starch such as high cost, difficulties in controlling oxidation degree and environment pollution among others, can be easily conquered by enzyme starch modifying technics.
BENEFITS:
The benefits of using AU-PEA550 for modifying original starch are easier operation technics, lower cost and no pollution.
This product can still have the indicated activity after three months storage under 25celsius . In lower temperature, the activity of the product will last longer. This product should not be frozen.
ADVANTAGES:
Most factories use ammonium persulfate to reduce the viscosity of native starch in the process of native starch gelatinization. Its negative effects are very obvious, though could reach the requirements for using the sizing machine.
1. The pH value will decline in the process of starch cooking, producing toxic gas, corroding the equipment, and have bad effects on the health of workers.
2. The caustic soda needs to be added in after the cooking process finished, which may burn the skin.
3. The cooking process is complex.
AU-PEA starch conversion agent could completely avoid the above shortages. It is a new-type efficient and pollution-free biological product. The AU-PEA product could fully reach the result of ammonium persulfate when used as viscosity breaking agent.

2. It got satisfied result in lab test in March the 3rd. Made the medium test in the 1# machine in March the 8th. The process is as follows:
3. 9:25 AM, Add in some clean water in the starch dissolving tank, then add in 200kgs native starch, stirring and put the weighed 300kgsAU-PEA550 into the dissolving tank, at the same time open the steam valve. At 9:40 A M, the starch starts to become gelatinized, viscosity got increased and later drop.
4. 9:55 AM, the starch got boiling, close the steam valve .
5. Insulating for 20 minutes and add cold clean water to the required scale,then add in the surface sizing agent and stirring evenly. The whole cooking process is finished.

CHRACTERISTICS:
1. AU-PEA550 provides maximal benefit at pH range of 6.0-7.0 and at the temperature of 65℃ 70celsius
2. The product has an optimum pH of 6.0-6.5 and is deactivated at pH below 5.0.

Unit definition: The amount of enzyme needed to hydrolyze 1 mg of starch in one minute at pH 6.0 at the reaction temperature of 60celsius and the unit can be showed as u/ml.

This product follow the industry standard of PRC as QB1805.1-93.
APPLICATION AND DOSAGE:
Add AU-PEA550 at the rate of 0.2-0.5 U/g together with calcium (Ca2+) at a concentration of 50-70ppm. The dosage should be decided through experiments according to the real objective conditions.

25 kg/plastic drum Alternative packaging is available upon request for smaller or larger volumes.
STORAGE :
Store in a cool, dry place and away from direct sunlight. AU-PEA550 maintains its activity for considerably longer time when stored at lower temperatures (below 25celsius ). The product should not be frozen.
HANDLING PRECAUTIONS:
AU-PEA550 is non-toxic and biodegradable. However, unnecessary contact with the product should be avoided. Long term exposure to protein based products such as AU-PEA550 may sensitize certain individuals to the product. Wash hands with warm soapy water after handling. Keep out of reach of children.
